Review of Hyatt Regency Mainz

Stayed for two nights again this Christmas market season. The evening snack hour left a lot to be desired. I know I shouldn’t expect a “dinner” but the food in general was not great this time around. The wines were plentiful but the food was woeful. The standard seems to be bread, soup, green salad, and a variety of other “salads”. The other salads were not great this year. The desserts were tasty though and the wine flowed freely. Service was great as usual.

Variety of snacks in the evening. Enough to make a meal if you really try. Decent selection of wines. Beer upon request. Can get busy in the evening. During the day, there are soft drinks, juices, and water available as well as some pastries and fruit.
